Instrument Panel

The instrument panel features a comprehensive layout of controls and displays. Key elements include:

Cadillac OLED Infotainment System

The OLED infotainment system offers a variety of entertainment, communication, and vehicle options, controlled via a touchscreen and a rotary controller on the center console.

  • Control Panel: Includes options for Trip Information, Cluster Views, Head-Up Display, and Night Vision Display.
  • Left Reconfigurable Zone: Displays vehicle information.
  • Cluster Display: Can show Gauge View (speedometer with information zones), Map View, Augmented Reality View (front camera view), or Night Vision View.
  • Right Reconfigurable Zone: Displays audio, phone, and navigation information.
  • Applications Tray: Provides shortcuts to apps.
  • Infotainment/Navigation/Vehicle Settings/Vehicle Information: Access to various system settings and data.
  • Status Pane: Shows system status.

Touch Controls: Supports gestures like swiping, scrolling, tapping, and press-and-hold for interaction. Multi-Color Head-Up Display (HUD): Displays information on the windshield. Activated via the Control Panel, with adjustable height and brightness. Content selection is available under Settings > System > Display > Head-Up Display on the Infotainment Screen. Cluster Display Configuration: Allows selection of Gauge, Map, AR Camera, or Night Vision views. Vehicle Information (Gauge View - Left Reconfigurable Zone): Accessed via the multi-function controller or Infotainment Screen to display and customize vehicle information in the cluster.

Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter (Key Fob)

The key fob provides remote control over several vehicle functions.

  • Lock: Locks all doors, fuel door, and liftgate.
  • Unlock: Unlocks the driver's door and fuel door, or all doors and liftgate.
  • Remote Vehicle Start: Press twice to start the engine remotely.
  • Rear Liftglass: Press twice to open the rear liftglass.
  • Power Liftgate: Press twice to open or close the power liftgate; press once to stop operation.
  • Vehicle Locator/Panic Alarm: Press and release to locate the vehicle; press and hold for 3 seconds to activate the alarm.
  • Remote Power Windows: Press and hold the lock button to open windows, or the unlock button to close them. Enabled via Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, and Start > Remote Window Operation.
  • Automatic Mirror Folding: Enabled via Settings > Vehicle > Comfort and Convenience > Remote Mirror Folding.

Keyless Access System

Allows operation of doors and liftgate without removing the key fob, provided it's within 3 feet of the vehicle.

  • Keyless Unlocking: Press the touchpad on the driver's or passenger's door handle to unlock. Press the Cadillac crest under the liftglass to open the liftgate.
  • Keyless Locking: Press the Cadillac crest sensor on the outside of a front door handle to lock all doors and liftgate.
  • Passive Locking: Automatically locks all doors after the last door is closed, ignition is off, and key fob is removed. Configurable via Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, and Start > Passive Door Lock.
  • Passive Door Unlock: Configurable via Settings > Vehicle > Remote Lock, Unlock, and Start > Passive Door Unlock.

Keyless Start

Starts the engine when the key fob is inside the vehicle.

  • Start: With the vehicle in Park or Neutral, press the brake pedal and hold the ENGINE START/STOP button.
  • Stop/Off: Shift to Park and press the ENGINE START/STOP button.
  • Accessory Mode: With the engine off and brake pedal not depressed, press the ENGINE START/STOP button to operate radio and other accessories.

Auto Engine Stop/Start (If Equipped)

A fuel-saving feature that turns off the engine at a complete stop and restarts it when the brake pedal is released or accelerator pressed.

  • Disable: Press the Auto Stop button on the center console to turn off the system.
  • Conditions: The engine may remain running or restart if minimum speed not reached, operating temperature not met, outside temperature out of range, shift lever not in Drive, low battery charge, climate control requires engine, or maximum Auto Stop time reached.

Cadillac OLED Infotainment System Controls

  • Managing Home Page Icons: Icons can be moved, dragged to the Applications Tray, and repositioned.
  • Storing Station Favorites: Radio stations (AM, FM, SiriusXM) can be saved as favorites.
  • In-Vehicle Apps: Access to entertainment, news, weather, and travel apps, including Amazon Alexa. Requires internet connectivity and a data plan.
  • Portable Audio Devices: USB ports for data and charging are located in the front of the center console and storage compartment. Supports iPhone, MP3 players, or USB flash drives.
  • Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™: Connects compatible smartphones for app projection. Supports wireless and wired connections.

Bluetooth® System

Allows pairing of Bluetooth-enabled devices for hands-free communication and audio streaming.

  • Pair a Phone: Use voice recognition ("Pair Phone") or the Infotainment Screen (Phone icon > Connect Phone) to pair.
  • Secondary Phone: Multiple phones can be paired, with one set as primary and others for calls only.
  • Streaming Audio: Stream audio from a Bluetooth-connected device by selecting it as the audio source.

Provides route guidance, directions, and map views.

  • Features: Select Navigation icon to start a route, set destinations, and adjust map preferences.
  • Augmented Reality View: Displays route guidance and upcoming turns as graphics on the front camera image in the Cluster Display.

Wireless Phone Charging

Located in the center console.

  • Usage: Vehicle must be On or in Retained Accessory Power. Remove objects from the pocket, place phone screen up. Charging symbol displays on Infotainment Screen. If not charging, rotate the phone 180 degrees.

4G LTE Wi-Fi® Hotspot

Built-in hotspot supporting up to 7 devices.

  • Access: Retrieve name and password via Wi-Fi Hotspot icon on Infotainment Screen or Settings > System > Wi-Fi Hotspot.

Vehicle Customization

Various features can be customized via the Settings menus on the Infotainment Screen.

  • Features: Remote Start, Power Liftgate, Auto Heated/Ventilated Seats, Safety Alert Seat, Mirror Folding, Wipers, and more.

Rear Seat Media System

Includes 2 touchscreens, 2 HDMI ports, and 2 Bluetooth wireless headphones.

  • Operation: Double tap screens to power on. Control from front seats via Rear Media icon on Infotainment Screen. Headphone icon for pairing headphones.

Universal Remote System

Located on the overhead console, controls up to 3 different devices (garage doors, gates, home lighting).

Steering Wheel Controls

  • Cruise Control/Adaptive Cruise Control/Super Cruise: On/Off, Set Speed, Resume Speed, Adjust Speed, Cancel, Follow Distance Gap. Super Cruise engages/disengages the advanced driving assistance system.
  • Heated Steering Wheel: On/Off.
  • Voice Recognition/Bluetooth: Push to Talk for calls or voice recognition. Press and hold for Bluetooth voice recognition (Siri/Google Assistant).
  • Conversation Enhancement: Turns system on/off.
  • Audio Controls: Volume, Mute, Next/Previous track/station.
  • Audio/Phone/Nav Controls: Now Playing, Phone menu, Select (rotate thumbwheel to move, press to open/select/reset).

Climate Controls

  • Automatic Operation: Press AUTO button for automatic fan speed, air delivery, A/C, and recirculation to reach set temperature.
  • Rear Climate Controls: Adjust via rear climate switches or Rear Climate icon on Infotainment Screen.
  • Controls: ON Power On/Off, AUTO Automatic Operation, Airflow Delivery, Driver's Temperature, Fan Speed, Passenger's Temperature, Windshield Defrost/Rear Defog, A/C/Recirculation, SYNC (synchronizes all settings to driver's).
  • Rear Controls: Heated Rear Seat, Air Delivery Modes, Fan Speed, Rear Seat Temperature, Automatic Operation, Heated Rear Seat.

Seat Features

  • Front Seat Adjustments: Seat Adjustment, Seatback Recline, Lumbar Support, Seat Massage.
  • Set Front Seat Memory Positions: Stores driver's seat, power steering column, and power outside mirror positions.
  • Recall Front Seat Memory Positions: Recalls stored positions.
  • 2nd-Row Seat Adjustments: Slide, recline, fold, and tumble.
  • Power Release 2nd-Row Seats: Buttons on the panel behind rear doors or in the cargo area to fold/tumble seats.
  • Power Folding/Unfolding 3rd-Row Seats: Buttons in the cargo area or front overhead console to fold/unfold seats.

Power Liftgate

  • Open/Close: Via key fob, overhead console knob, or Cadillac crest below liftglass.
  • Programming Height: Adjust manually, then press and hold button next to liftgate latch to save.
  • Hands-Free Operation: Kick foot under passenger's side of rear bumper with key fob within 3 feet.

Electronic Precision Shift

Automatic transmission shift lever with illuminated gear positions.

  • Modes: Park (button on top), Reverse (forward past detent), Neutral (forward to detent), Drive (rearward), Tap Shift Mode (pull back for manual shifting), Car Wash Mode (forward to detent for Neutral).

Driver Mode Selector

Adjusts vehicle control systems based on driving preferences, weather, and road conditions.

  • Modes: Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice (2WD only), Off-Road (4WD only), Tow/Haul, My Mode (customizable).

Four-Wheel Drive

  • Shifting: Between 2H, 4H, and AUTO at normal driving speeds.
  • Modes: AUTO Automatic 2WD High/4WD High, 2H 2WD High, 4H 4WD High, 4L 4WD Low (2-Speed Transfer Case), N Neutral (2-Speed Transfer Case).
  • Terrain Mode (4WD Single-Speed Transfer Case only): Enhanced control in low-speed, off-road conditions.

Air Ride Adaptive Suspension

Offers load-leveling and adjustable ride height.

  • Adjustments: Via Ride Height buttons on the instrument panel.
  • Heights: Normal Ground Clearance, Entry/Exit Ground Clearance, Increased Ground Clearance, Maximum Ground Clearance.
  • Aero: Automatically lowers vehicle at speeds over 65 mph for aerodynamics.
  • Automatic Entry/Egress: Vehicle automatically lowers to Entry/Exit height when shifted to Park.

Driver Assistance Systems

  • Safety Alert Seat: Pulses left, right, or both sides to alert of potential hazards.
  • Forward Collision Alert: Green indicator for detected vehicle ahead, amber for too close. Red alert flashes on windshield, Safety Alert Seat pulses/beeps for rapid approach.
  • Automatic Emergency Braking: Helps avoid/reduce severity of front-end collisions below 50 mph.
  • Front Pedestrian Braking: Detects pedestrians below 50 mph, displays amber indicator, flashes red alert, pulses/beeps, and provides braking.
  • Rear Pedestrian Alert: Detects pedestrians behind vehicle in Reverse, displays amber indicator, flashes red, pulses/beeps.
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning: Assists in avoiding unintentional lane departures. Green indicator when available, amber when assisting.
  • Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert: Displays warning symbol in side mirror when vehicle detected in blind zone. Flashes if turn signal activated.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control: Maintains following gap by accelerating/braking automatically.
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert: Warns of detected cross-traffic when in Reverse.
  • Reverse Automatic Braking: Provides alerts and braking for objects behind vehicle at low speeds.
  • Front and Rear Park Assist: Provides "distance to closest object" information and pulses/beeps.
  • Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist: Searches for and steers/brakes vehicle into parallel/perpendicular parking spaces.

Rear Camera Mirror

Provides a wider, less-obstructed field of view.

  • Controls: On/Off lever, Selection Control (brightness, zoom, tilt), Adjustment Controls, Rear Wiper control band.

Tire Pressure Monitoring

  • Indicator: Low Tire Pressure light illuminates for underinflated tires.
  • Inflation: Horn sounds and turn signals flash solid when recommended pressure is reached (Tire Fill Alert).

Lighting

  • IntelliBeam System: Automatically turns high-beam headlights on/off based on traffic conditions.
  • Dome Lamps: Reading lamps, all reading/dome lamps (doors closed), all dome lamps (doors open).
  • Adaptive Headlight System: Uses high-beam headlights for best light distribution, fading out segments to prevent glaring.

  • Roadside Assistance: 1-800-224-1400 (TTY Users: 1-888-889-2438). Services include towing, battery jump starts, lock-out service, fuel delivery, flat-tire assistance for up to 6 years/70,000 miles.
  • OnStar® Roadside Assistance: For OnStar Safety & Security Plan subscribers, press blue OnStar button or red Emergency button.
  • Customer Assistance: 1-800-458-8006.
