CHARGING
VEHICLE INFORMATION
Touch the
Vehicle Status icon on the infotainment screen
to view details about the vehicle’s energy use and how to
maximize efficiency.
CHARGING APP
Touch the Charging icon on the infotainment screen to
open the Charging app. Select the Next Charge, Charge
Assist, Schedule or Settings tab.
Next Charge – Select Charge Now to begin charging
immediately upon plug-in, or Charge Later for delayed charging.
Options include setting the target charge level, time selector,
and cabin pre-conditioning.
Charge Assist – View nearby charging stations, download
saved routes from the myCadillac mobile app to your built-in
Google Maps, and manage charge provider accounts.
Schedule – Set options for the charge level and a schedule for
when to charge each day. With a schedule set, charging can
occur during off-peak times at a lower cost. On unscheduled
days, the vehicle will charge immediately upon plug-in.
Settings – Customize settings for several features, including
Home Charge Location, DC Fast Charge Prep and Cabin Pre-
Conditioning Temperature.
CHARGING STATUS
The charging status indicator shows the current charging
status of the vehicle.
Solid blue indicator – Successful initial plug-in connection.
Flashing green indicator and single tone – Vehicle is plugged
in; battery is charging. Flashes indicate the current percentage
of battery charge. As the vehicle charges, the flashes will be
longer, showing a higher state of charge.
Slow (long pulse) flashing blue indicator with double tone
Vehicle is plugged in; battery charging is delayed.
Solid green indicator – Vehicle is plugged in; battery is
charged to set charge level.
Flashing red indicator – Vehicle is plugged in; not charging.
Check the charge cord connection.
No light – Vehicle is not plugged in OR there is an issue with
the charger or outlet.
No light and three tones – The charge port door is open.
DUAL-LEVEL CHARGE CORD
The included dual-level charge cord features 120-volt and
240-volt attachment plugs that can charge the vehicle at either
Level 1, 120 volts, or Level 2, 240 volts, up to 32 amps. For
240-volt charging, a
NEMA 14-50 outlet
is required. When
changing attachment
plugs, make sure
to fully insert the
attachment plug into
the charger body so
that the connector is
flush to the charger
body.
