Usage Features:
Weighing:
- Attachment: Secure the webbing belt through the luggage handle and hook the belt onto the triangle ring. The scale should be positioned directly above the luggage handle.
- Power On: Press the "Z/T" button to switch on the scale.
- Unit Selection: Once the display shows zero, press the "UNIT" button to select the desired weight unit (lb or kg).
- Weighing Process: Gently lift the scale, ensuring it is horizontal and balanced. The LCD will display the luggage weight. The reading will stabilize, flash three times, and then lock for two minutes before the scale automatically switches off.
- Reweighing: To perform another weighing, press "Z/T" to reset the LCD display to zero.
- Auto-Off: The scale automatically switches off if idle for more than two minutes.
Room Temperature Display:
- Activate: Press "Z/T" to switch on the device and wait for the LCD to show zero.
- View Temperature: Press "UNIT" to view the temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
- Return to Weighing Mode: Press "UNIT" again to revert to the normal weighing mode.
- Temperature Check: When converting to temperature display mode, the LCD will show "----" for approximately two seconds while the scale checks the temperature before displaying the reading.
Battery Installation and Replacement:
- The scale is powered by a 1x3V (CR2032) lithium battery.
- For first-time use, remove the battery isolation sheet from the battery case.
- Replacement Indicator: Replace the battery when the LCD shows "Lo".
- Procedure:
- Hold the scale and press the sides of the battery case at the bottom to pull out the battery cover.
- Push corner A outwards to release the used battery.
- To insert a new battery, slide one side under retainer notches B & C, then press the other side until it clips under corner A. Ensure the battery is oriented correctly (+ and - polarities).
- Insert the battery cover back into the slot.
Troubleshooting:
- Scale Not Turning On:
- Check if the isolation tag has been removed from the battery.
- Verify that the battery is inserted with the correct polarities (+ and -).
- Try a new battery if the issue persists.
- "LO" Display: Indicates low battery. Replace the battery, ensuring correct polarity. If "LO" persists after replacement, contact support.
- Accuracy: The scale is accurate to +/- 0.1 lbs.
Maintenance Features:
- Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
- Handling:
- Do NOT stress the triangle ring beyond its capacity.
- During travel, keep the scale away from objects with pointy ends (e.g., toys, stationery) that might accidentally switch on the scale and drain the battery.
- Environment: To ensure accurate readings, do NOT use the scale in a strong-magnetic field environment.
