– Always fol low this age rec om menda tion: A person under 16 years old shoul d
never opera te this vehicle.
– Never carry a pass enger on this vehicle. Pas s enger(s) a ffect balance and s teer-
ing and increa se risk of losin g control.
– Never operate this v ehicle on any pav ed surfaces, including sid ewalks, drive-
ways, pa rk ing lots and streets.
– Never op erate this vehicle on any public street, road or highw a y, ev en a dirt or
gravel one.
– Never take place on this vehicle w ithout wearing an approved helmet that fits
properly. You should a lso w ea r eye protection (goggles or face shield), gloves,
boots, long sleeved s hirt or ja c ke t, and long pants.
– Never use this vehicle if y ou are tired, i ll o r with drugs or alcohol. Your reaction
time and judgement is greatly affected under thes e condition s.
– Never opera te at ex c es s ive sp eeds . Always go at a speed that is proper for the
terrain, v isibi lity, and opera ting conditions , and y our experience.
– Never a ttempt w heelies, jumps, or other stunts .
– Always inspect and c onfirm the safe operating condition of your v ehicle prior to
ride. Alw a ys follo w the inspection a nd maintena nc e p roce dures and schedules
described in this Operator's Guide.
– Always keep both ha nds on the handlebars and both feet on the footrests of the
vehicle during operation.
– Always go slowly and be extra careful when operating on unfamiliar terra in. A l-
ways be alert to changing terrain conditio ns when opera ting this vehicle.
– Never opera t e on ex ce ssi ve ly rough, slippery or loose terrain until you hav e
learned and practiced the skills ne cessary to control thi s vehicle on such terrain.
Always be es pecially ca utious on thes e kinds of terrain.
– Always follow prope r procedures for turning a s described further in this Opera-
tor's Guide. Prac tice turning at low speeds before attempting to turn at faster
speeds. Do not turn at exce ssive speed.
– Never operate this vehicle on hil ls too steep for the vehicle or for y our abilities.
Practice on smaller hills before attempting larger hills.
– Always follow proper proc edures for climbi ng hills a s described further in
this Operator's Guide. Check the terrain carefully before you start up any hill.
Never climb hills with ex cessi vely slippery or loose surfa ce s. S hift your wei ght
forward. Never open the th rottle suddenly or make s udden gear c ha nges .
Never go over t he top of any hill at high sp eed.
– Always follow proper pr ocedures for going down hills and for braking on hills as
described further i n this Operator's Guide. Check the terrain carefully before
you start down an y hill. Shift your we ight bac kwa rd.
