Starting up Digital Photo Professional
Main Window
Click the [Start] button
select [All Programs] ([Programs] in
Windows 2000)
[Canon Utilities]
[Digital Photo Professional]
[Digital Photo Professional].
Alternatively, you can start up Digital Photo Professional by double-clicking the
[Digital Photo Professional] icon on the desktop.

Menu bar
Displays the [File], [Edit], [View], [Bookmark], [Adjustment], [Tools], and [Help] menus.
Path display
Displays the path of the drive and folder that contain the currently
displayed image.
Image display area
Tree View Area (2-5, 2-7)
* The above window shows all the information at once. In actual use, only the
information needed is displayed.
To exit Digital Photo Professional, select [File] menu [Exit].
Displays the coordinates of the cursor position and the RGB values (8-bit conversion) of an image
while operating the click white balance (2-15, 2-22).
Displays the total
number of images.
Displays the number of the
currently selected images.
Displays whether or not recipe data
is attached to the selected image.
