The accounting related settings in the Settings Editor
Description

The table below describes the available accounting related settings in the Settings Editor
(navigate to [Configuration] -> [Accounting]).
Setting Description
[Download account log file] You can save the account log files to a location on your
PC or network to create invoices for customers, for ex-
ample.
[Delete account log files] [Use this option to delete all stored account log files.]
[Upload accounting ID file] [Use this option to upload the accounting ID file. The ac-
counting ID file contains the accounting identifiers that
can be used. The printer uses the file to verify the ac-
counting ID that is entered by a user or defined as de-
fault accounting ID.]
[Download accounting ID file] [Use this option to download the accounting ID file. The
accounting ID file contains the accounting identifiers that
can be used. The printer uses the file to verify the ac-
counting ID that is entered by a user or defined as de-
fault accounting ID.]
[Default accounting ID for streaming
jobs]
[Specify the accounting ID that the printer automatically
uses when a streaming job is started.]
[Accounting ID identification] [Accounting ID identification ensures that only jobs with
a valid accounting ID are printed.]
[Accounting ID verification] [Accounting ID verification ensures that only jobs with a
valid accounting ID are printed.]
[Separator in account log file] This setting allows you to select the character used in
the account log files to separate the information. You
can select [Use ';' (semi-colon)] or [Use ',' (comma)].
[Encoding of account log file] This settings allows you to indicate that the account log
files must be encoded in UTF-8.
[Job names in account log file] [Indicate if job names are masked in the account log
files. When you use the default setting job names are
readable.]
[New account log file] With this setting you indicate when a new account log
file is created:
[At start of day]
[At start of week]
[At start of calendar month]
