LEAD AND WIRE SECURITY SEAL INSTALLATION
If your Model 225 indicator is used in a commercial application and your local metrology laws
require the use of physical sealing, a lead and wire security seal can be installed to prevent the
rear panel from being removed from the indicator to gain access to the calibration jumper (P8)
thereby preventing unauthorized access to the calibration adjustments. Refer to the Figure
No. 18 for a suggested location and details on the installation of the security seal.
NOTE: In order to install the lead and wire security seal, two (2) acorn nuts on the
rear panel MUST be replaced with drilled acorn nuts. They are available from the
Cardinal Scale Mfg. Parts Department. The part number is 8200-B026-08 (NUT HEX
#10-32 ACORN SS DRILLED).
