Why does my Carrier TRANSICOLD 69NT40-531 unit operate long or continuously in cooling?

Several factors can cause your unit to run continuously in cooling mode. It could be due to a hot load, defective box insulation, or an air leak. A shortage of refrigerant, an evaporator coil covered with ice or plugged with debris, or evaporator fans rotating backwards could also be the cause. Other potential issues include a defective evaporator fan motor/capacitor, air bypass around the evaporator coil, a controller set too low, or compressor service valves that are partially closed. Also, check if the condenser is dirty or the compressor is worn. Finally, the current limit may be set to the wrong value, the suction modulation valve may have lost track of step count or malfunction, or the unloader valve may be stuck open.
