CONDITIONS
When the compressor discharge temperature(T5) is more than 239
F (115 C) for 10 seconds, the
compressor stops and restarts until T5 is less than 194
F (90C)
SUPPOSED CAUSES
Wiring mistake
Refrigerant leak
Faulty discharge temperature sensor
Faulty outdoor PCB
Temperature protection of
compressor discharge
Check whether the
compressor discharge temp. is
high than 239°F (115°C)
Check if the connection between
the compressor discharge
temperature sensor and the PCB
is correct according
to the wiring diagrams.

Stop the leak and add refrigerant
Replace the compressor discharge temp. sensor

Check whether the
refrigerant leaks
Measure the resistance value

temperature sensor. If the value
is not normal, refer to Appendix 2.
