j. The superheat may cycle from a low to high reading.
Monitorthesuperheattakingreadingsevery 3--5min-
utes for a total of 5--6 readings. Calculate the super-
heats, add the readings and divide by the number of
readings taken to determine average superheat. The
superheat should be 18 ± 3°F.
k. If superheat isnot within tolerance,replace thevalve.
