Lockout Temperature
NOTE: An internet connection is required for this feature to operate properly.
When weather data is not available the thermostat will go through its normal
staging sequence of operation.
The heat pump lockout temperature can be used to force a switch from heat
pump operation to auxiliary heating. When the outdoor temperature drops below
this setting, the thermostat will stop using the heat pump for heating and only use
the auxiliary heat. This feature is especially useful for Hybrid Heat® dual fuel
applications where the auxiliary heat source usually has a higher capacity than
the heat pump at low temperature and can therefore help maintain comfort.
Default: Off
Options: Off, 5°F, 10°F, 15°F, 20°F, …, 50°F, 55°F
