Installation Procedures

Add the refrigerant according to the installation instruction for outdoor units. Compressor failure can be caused by lling
too much or too little refrigerant. Refer to the outdoor unit manual for additional evacuation and pressure test procedures
prior to system operation.
Proceed with the are tube connecting operation to connect all the refrigerant tubes.
• Dual wrenches must be used for connecting the indoor unit tubing.
For mounting torque, refer to the table on the right.
Cutting or enlarging pipes should be carried out by
installation personnel according to the operating
criterion, if the tube is too long or the are opening is
broken.
1. Connecting circular terminals:
The connecting method of the circular terminal is
shown in the Fig. Remove the screw, connect it to
the terminal tier after inserting it
through the ring
at the end of the lead and then
tighten it.
2. Connecting straight terminals:
The connection method for circular terminals is shown
in the Fig. Loosen the screw before inserting the line
terminal into the terminal tier, tighten the screw and
conrm that it has been clamped by pulling the line gently.
3. Pressing connecting line:
After line connection is completed, press the
connecting line with clips that should be pressed on the
protective sleeve of the connecting line.
