The CL7200 can store and display movie files that can be programmed to run in
the customer display during scale idle time. Image files stored in the movie folder
of the scale can be linked together to create slide shows that can also run in the
customer display. The Slide Show will be active in the customer display all of the
time not just during idle time. These files can be loaded into the scale using the
same methods that the PLU Image files used.
Movie and Slide Show Image File Types
The movie and slide show image file types supported in the CL7200 are:
Slide Show Images “BMP”, “JPG”, “GIF” and “PNG”
(Optimum Resolution for Slide Show images is 500 pixels x 200 pixels.)
Movie Files “AVI”, “WMV”, “MP4”, “MKV”, “M4V” and “MOV”
[Resolution and frame rate up to 1080p30 (MAX 1920x1080, 30 fps, progressive scan)]
Audio Codecs “AAC” and “MP3”
Adding Movie and Slide Show Image Files to the Scale (USB method)
Movie files and image files used for Slide Shows can be transferred to the scale
using a USB flash drive, the CL-Works Pro software or by using the FTP method.
Only the USB method is explained here. The other two methods are a little
more complex and are explained in videos available on the website.
1. Create a folder on the USB flash drive named “movie”. (don’t use
quotation marks)
