Engine Identification
The engine serial number and date code are
stamped on a lug (1) protruding from the rear,
right-hand side of the engine. This information is
repeated on the emission control decal located on
the engine valve c over, and on the vehicle
identification plate reproduced on page1--2.

Emission Control Decal
Located on the engine valve cover, the Emission
Control Decal provides details on engine emissions
and confirms adherence to legislation within the
E.E.C. countries

Driveline Identification
The serial number (1) is stamped on the right-hand
side of the transmission housing. This information is
repeated on the v ehicle identification plate. Record
the information below for quick reference.
