4.2 Error messages and solutions
In case of an error, the number is shown bottom right in the display.

1 Infrared in the channel 1 (1 cent)
Clear the dust on the IR sensor. When the error remains, replace
IR emitter board in the channel 1

4.3 Brush setting / replacement
The brush must be replaced every 900.000 coins counted/sorted. To check this number, switch the
counter OFF: now hold REP and and switch it back ON again and the number will appear bottom right
in the display. Press START/STOP to exit this menu.
The CC 604 comes with the brush fixed on position 1.
When 400.000 coins passed, it is recommend to set it
to position 2 to guarantee the correct pressure which
means correct countings: in the display POS 2 is
shown. Disconnect mains and open the to cover:
switch the brush to position 2 and confirm by pressing
START/STOP.
When the quantity of counted coins exceeds 900.000
coins, the LCD will display BRUSH. You must replace
the brush now to assure correct counting/sorting. After replacement, start the unit as described above
and when the number is shown, press CLEAR to reset the counter. This process is essential to guarantee
the correct life span of the brush which means correct countings.
ATTENTION: clearing this number is definitive and can’t be undone.
