1. Press the L-9 (USER RHYTHMS) button. Press R-14(-,+)button or use the dial to select “No
Data”.
2. Press the C-4 (PATTERN SEQUENCER) button to enter the pattern sequencer mode.
3. Press the C-6 (RECORD) button.
4. Steps to configure the beat:
While holding down the R-13 (FUNCTION) button, press the C-17 ( MENU) button.
This will display a menu like the one shown below, with the
next to “Quant”.
Use the dial or R-14 (-,+) button to configure the beat setting of 4,8,8T,16,16T.
Ex. Use “16”
Use the R-17 (˅) button to move the to “Precount” and then use the R-14 (-,+)
buttons to select “1”.
Use the R-17 (˅) button to move the to “Playcord” and then use the R-14 ( -,+)
buttons to select the playcord “C, C7, Cm”. Ex. Use “C”.
Use the R-17 (˅) button to move the to “Metronome” and then use the R-14
( -,+) buttons to turn the metronome “ on ”.
Press the R-15 (EXIT) button to exit the menu.
5. Press GM/Drum (R1-R12) and choice your favorite drums. Example “StandardSet1“ Press R-14
(-,+) button or use the dial to change your favorite drums.
6. Press the L-17 (START/STOP) button to start recording and start playing on the keyboard
after the precount. It will count 16 measure loop.
7. Press the L-17 (START/STOP) button to stop the recoding.
