BASIC
OPERATION
This
section
explains
the
basic
typing
operations
of
the
CW-16.
Besides
the standard
pitch,
margin
and
tab
settings,
the
CW-16
is
also
equipped
with
a
variety
of
print
modes
to
suit
the
specific typing job being
performed.
The
operation
described
in
this section
can
also be
used
in
the
memory
mode
(see
page
29).

typed.
The

most
recent characters
typed
are
also shown
on
the
display.
A
beep
sounds
when the
hot
zone
is
entered
(see
2.6).
Another
beep
sounds
when
the
right
margin
is
reached,
and
further
input
is
impossible.
At
this
time,
press
either
or
(4H(see
3.9).
Pressing
[@](see
page
20)
deletes
text
from
the
display,
but
not from
the
paper.
This
setting
is
retained
even
when
the
power
of
the
unit
is
switched OFF.
