LEFT MARGIN

Sets
the
left
margin
at
the
current
printhead
(DP
mode,
3.1)
or
cursor
(LP
modes,
3.1)
position.
The
space
bar,
(a),
(~]and
keys
are
used
to
locate the
printhead
or
cursor
at
the
desired
location.
The[+)and
(+]keys
(see
3.4)
can
only
be used
in
the line
print
mode,
and
only
within
the
range
that
the
carrier
has been
moved
from
the
beginning
of
the
line
using
the
space
bar. The
space
bar
will
cause
the carrier
to
move
in
the
LP
mode
only
until
text
is
input
in
the
current
line.
The[HH
key
(see
3.9)
is
used
to
move
past
margins
that
have
already
been
set.
The minimum
distance
allowed
between
the
left
and
right
margins
is
8
spaces.
Note
also
that
changing
the
pitch
also
changes
the
left
margin setting.
The
current
left
margin
setting
cannot
be
changed
in
the
EDIT
mode
(see
6.1),
or
during
operation
of
the
right margin
flush
(see
4.4),
centering (see
4.3),
or
decimal
tab
(see
4.1)
functions.
The
left
margin
setting
is
retained
even
when
the
power
of
the unit
is
switched
OFF.
