shift
the
keyboard
Press
SHIFT
to
temporarily
shift
the
keyboard
between
upper-case
and
lower-case
ietters.
The
indicator
“S"
on
the
display
shows
that
the
keyboard
is
shifted.

the
keyboard
is
shift-locked
for
upper-case
input,
pressing
SHIFT
shifts
to
lower-case.

the
keyboard
is
set
for
lower-case
letters
(by
the
CAPS
key),
pressing
SHIFT
changes
to
upper-case.

With
SHIFT,
the
keyboard
remains
shifted
for
input
of
one
character
only.
As
soon
as
you
input
one
character,
the
keyboard
switches
back
to
the
status
set
by
CAPS.

SHIFT

shift

input
of

punctuation
symbois
marked
above
the
number
keys.
The

Schedule
Keeper

enter
a
mode

main
menu
screen.

About
display
formats
There
are
two
display
formats
used
in
the
Telephone
Directory,
Memo
Mode,
Schedule
Keeper
and
Reminder
Mode:
a
data
display
format
and
an
index
display
format.
The
data
display
shows
all
of
the
data
entries
contained
in
a
data
item,
white
an
index
display
abbreviates
each
data
item
into
one
or
two
lines.
The
index
display
makes
it
possible
to
quickly
scroll
through
daia
items
to
find
the
one
that
you
want.
