QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE
Congratulations on your new CBTL
™
Single Serve Beverage System.
For first time use, please follow these steps.
Kaldi Model S04
Step 1 Carefully remove your new system from the box.
Step 2 Fill water tank to maximum fill level.
Step 3 Plug into grounded outlet and turn power
switch on.
Step 4 Place cup on drip tray.
Step 5 All three beverage buttons and the red light should be
blinking. Press the center button once and wait
approximately 2 minutes for machine to dispense
water from spout. The 3 beverage buttons will blink
while the red light stops blinking to confirm the
completion of this initial priming cycle. Repeat this step
only if red light continues to blink.
Step 6 After the priming cycle is complete, empty the
cup and water from the used capsule drawer
and then replace. The 3 beverage buttons will
stop blinking to confirm that the machine is
heated and ready to prepare your beverage.

Step 1 Select preferred capsule for brewing: CBTL™ Capsules include espresso,
brewed coffee and tea.
