it is very important to know all the factors that aect this process. The following section
explains how to obtain a perfect coee.
- In case of very high pressures this may be due to the fact that the ground coee used is
very ne and/or that the pressure exerted on the coee in the lter is very high.
- In case of very low pressures this may be due to the fact that the ground coee used is
too coarse and/or the pressure is too low.
Espresso coee
1. Open the lid, remove the water tank and pour adequate water into the tank. Do not exceed
MAX capacity.
2. Re-install the water tank and close the lid.
3. Plug in the power plug. All buttons light up completely and then turn o. Touch the power
switch, the single and double coee indicators ash, the steam switch indicator lights up
steady and the machine starts to heat up. After about 1 minute, all indicators are steady,
indicating that preheating is complete.
4. Take out the lter holder, pour the ground coee (9 grams for single and 16 for double)
as preferred into the corresponding coee lter with the spoon, then press the ground
coee rmly with the spoon/presser, wipe o the excess ground coee that overows
the edge of the lter holder, to avoid damaging the sealing ring of the group head.
Note: if too much ground coee is left on the edge of the lter, it is easy to cause a poor seal
and water leakage.
5. Position and rotate the lter holder assembly counterclockwise from position to
position and tighten it correctly.
6. Place the cup(s) under the coee spout.
7. Touch the single or double coee switch and the machine will start pumping water and
coee will come out of the portalter hole.
8. The machine stops operating at the end of the preset time and the indicators remain
xed. Remove the cup of coee.
Warning
- Do not leave the coee machine unattended during the brewing process, as it sometimes
requires manual operation.
- Once the coee has been brewed, remove the high-pressure lter holder assembly by
turning it clockwise, clean the coee grounds from the lter in good time and rinse it with
hot water. Touch the button for one or two cups of coee, rinse the spout with water,
install the clean high-pressure lter holder assembly in the spout and wait for the next
use.
Warning: do not touch the hot surfaces of the machine with your hands to avoid burns,
especially the pouring spout and the steam nozzle when using the machine.
