it is very important to know all the factors that aect this process. The following section
explains how to obtain a perfect coee.
- In case of very high pressures this may be due to the fact that the ground coee used is
very ne and/or that the pressure exerted on the coee in the lter is very high.
- In case of very low pressures this may be due to the fact that the ground coee used is
too coarse and/or the pressure is too low.
Espresso coee
1. Open the lid, remove the water tank and pour adequate water into the tank. Do not exceed
MAX capacity.
2. Re-install the water tank and close the lid.
3. Plug in the power plug. All buttons light up completely and then turn o. Touch the power
switch, the single and double coee indicators ash, the steam switch indicator lights up
steady and the machine starts to heat up. After about 1 minute, all indicators are steady,
indicating that preheating is complete.
4. Take out the lter holder, pour the ground coee (9 grams for single and 16 for double)
as preferred into the corresponding coee lter with the spoon, then press the ground
coee rmly with the spoon/presser, wipe o the excess ground coee that overows
the edge of the lter holder, to avoid damaging the sealing ring of the group head.
Note: if too much ground coee is left on the edge of the lter, it is easy to cause a poor seal
and water leakage.
5. Position and rotate the lter holder assembly counterclockwise from position to
position and tighten it correctly.
6. Place the cup(s) under the coee spout.
7. Touch the single or double coee switch and the machine will start pumping water and
coee will come out of the portalter hole.
8. The machine stops operating at the end of the preset time and the indicators remain
xed. Remove the cup of coee.
Warning
- Do not leave the coee machine unattended during the brewing process, as it sometimes
requires manual operation.
- Once the coee has been brewed, remove the high-pressure lter holder assembly by
turning it clockwise, clean the coee grounds from the lter in good time and rinse it with
hot water. Touch the button for one or two cups of coee, rinse the spout with water,
install the clean high-pressure lter holder assembly in the spout and wait for the next
use.
Warning: do not touch the hot surfaces of the machine with your hands to avoid burns,
especially the pouring spout and the steam nozzle when using the machine.
