Summary

GENERAL SAFETY

INSTALLATION

WORK surface

Stable, well-ventilated location away from direct sunlight, with a 30cm safety zone.

MAINS connection

Ensure voltage/frequency match, fit a 5 amp fused plug wired to convention.

ROTOR assembly

Locate rotor on tapered shaft, secure with washer and locking screw hand-tightened.

OPERATION

FILLING and loading of sample tubes

Minimize imbalance by loading tubes symmetrically and evenly weighted.

EMERGENCY lid release

Qualified personnel only to use the emergency tool to release lid after rotor stops.

CENTRIFUGE BODY cleaning

Wipe external surfaces with detergent. Mop spills and check for liquid ingress into the main body.

ROTOR cleaning

Remove locking screw, washer. Pull rotor off shaft. Clean with detergent or autoclave at 120°C.

INSTRUCTION PAGE

Setting Speed and Time

Use up/down arrows to set RPM or Time display.

Setting RCF

Press Function + Lid Open. Blue dot indicates RCF or RPM mode.

Setting Acceleration/Deceleration

Use Function + Speed arrows for rates 0-9.

Memory Functions

Store and recall settings using Function + Pulse and Time arrows.

Using the Centrifuge

Load samples evenly, set parameters, close lid, press Start.

Pulse Function

Use Pulse button for short runs; time counts up while held.

LED DISPLAY CODES

Open Lid Codes

OPEn indicates lid can be opened; UUAIt requires a 5-second wait.

Close Lid Codes

Lld? indicates the lid needs to be closed.

Rotor Obstruction Code

tAcho? suggests checking for obstructions fouling the rotor or lid.

Imbalance Code

bAL? indicates rotor imbalance; check tube weights and loading.

Rotor Speed Error

rotor? indicates speed mismatch; recheck speed or contact service.

Sensor/Inverter Error

rrEc? indicates sensor or inverter issue; contact service.

Test Routine

Test Routine Setup

Turn on buzzer, check sensors (tachometer, rotor, lid, imbalance).

Test Sequence

Follow steps: power off, press Function, turn on, press Time up for tests.
