[Oil change]
1. As for the new motorcycle, change the engine oil as per the schedule described in the break-in period
in page 22.
2. Engine oil change interval after the break-in period: replace every 1500 km.
3. To change the engine oil, warm up the engine thoroughly and shut off the engine. Then drain the engine
oil (Caution: Do not be burnt by the engine or engine oil).
4. When changing oil, place a container under the engine, remove the drain plug and unscrew the three
nuts to take out the oil filter cover, springs filter.
5. Clean the oil drain plug and oil filter cover after draining the oil. Replace the oil filter and inspect the
oil seal. If the oil seal is damaged, replace it with a new one. Install the oil filter, spring, oil seal and oil
filter cover.
6. Add approximate 1.2 L new engine oil from the fuel filler. If the oil filter is replaced at the same time,
1.25 L new engine oil will be required. Inspect for oil leakage and then install the oil filler plug.

7.3 Spark plug selection and replacement

Spark plug type：CR9EP
Always use CFMOTO original spark plugs.
[Spark plug inspection and replacement]
1. Spark plug change interval: every 6000 km.
2. Remove the ignition coil. Clean up the dirt around the spark plug and
use a socket wrench to remove the spark plug, use a wire brush to remove
carbon deposit and dirt on the spark plug.

3. Inspect the spark plug for damage. Check if the electrode is burnt out and if the gasket washer is damaged.
