[Battery model]
The battery model: YTX7L-BS, capacity: 12V 6Ah. It is under the front seat.
The battery in this vehicle is maintenance-free. Therefore, it is unnecessary to inspect the amount of b-
attery electrolyte or add distilled water. Do not remove the seal strip once the electrolyte is added into
the battery. To ensure optimum service life of the battery, charge the battery properly to allow the battery
to supply enough power to the starter motor. When the motorcycle is used frequently, the battery is fully
charged by the motorcycle charging system. If the motorcycle is only occasionally used, or used in a
short time during each ride, the battery could be discharged. Battery can also discharge automatically.
The rate of discharge varies with battery type and ambient temperature.
[Battery inspection and maintenance]
When the motorcycle is not used for a long period, the battery should be removed from the motorcycle to
be charged and stored. It should be charged periodically. To remove the battery, disconnect the negative
cable at first.
the terminals are not reversed. To replace the battery, use the same model and specification battery.

Periodically clean the positive and negative terminals of the battery. To install the battery, connect

positive terminal at first, then connect negative terminal . Ensure that the connections are not loose or

[Fuse replacement]
The rated current of the main fuse is 30A. It’s located in the fuse box behind the battery. Sub fuse box is
located below the rear seat. The functions are as shown in Figure 24.
If the fuse is blown frequently, it indicates that there is a short circuit or overload in the circuit . Go to
CFMOTO service station for help.
To replace a fuse, simply remove the old fuse and install new fuse with the same rating.
