OPERATION
STARTING A COLD ENGINE
1. Apply the brake pedal.
2. Shift the drive select lever into the neutral position.
When the drive select lever is in the neutral position, the neutral indicator light should come on.
If the neutral indicator light does not come on, ask your dealer to
inspect the electric circuit.
The engine can be started in any gear if the brake is applied. However, it is recommended to shift
into neutral before starting the engine.
3. With your foot off the gas pedal move the key to the START position.
NOTICE
Your vehicles engine is equipped with an electronic fuel injected engine you do not need to
press the accelerator pedal during the starting process.
