Throttle Body
Throttle body is an important engine compo-
nent, which, requires professional adjustment.
Have your dealer perform the adjustment as
they have professional knowledge and experi-
ence.
CAUTION
Throttle body is set after many tests. If
the setting is disturbed by anyone with-
out enough professional knowledge and
experience, it may result in engine perfor-
mance degradation or other damages.
Throttle body limit screw is precisely cali-
brated and can not be reset again.
Check the idle speed for stability. If the idle
speed is unstable, ask your dealer for help.
Idle Speed
The idle speed is controlled by EFI system and
it does not require any adjustment.
Improper adjustment of idle speed may affect
the engine performance.
If the idle speed is abnormal, consult your
dealer.
NOTE
Idle speed: 1400r/min ± 100r/min
Valve Clearance Adjustment
The correct valve clearance changes with use,
resulting in improper fuel/air supply or engine
noise.
To prevent this, the valve clearance must be
adjusted regularly. This adjustment however,
should be performed by your dealer.
