4）Install gear select shaft and tighten. Select
shaft nut to specified torque.
Tightening torque for
reverse shaft nut
13—20 N.m
（1.8—2.8 kg-m）
（13.5—20.0 lb-ft）
5）Install ball, spring and screw and tighten
screw to specified torque：
Tightening torque
8-14 N.m
（0.8—1.4 kg-m）
（6.0—10.0 lb-ft）
6）Check select shaft lever and shift shaft
lever for smooth and correct movement into each
rang position.
7）When installing lever case to transmission
extension case, clean joint faces, and then apply
sealant（BOUND NO.515）to joint faces.
8 ） Tighten gear shift lever case bolt to
specified torque.
Tightening torque
for lever case bolt
18—28 N.m
（1.8—2.8 kg-m）
（13.5—20.0 lb-ft）
9）Connect select cable and shift cable to
respective lever, making sure not to confuse
them..
