Getting to Know Your

The Traction Control System (TCS) is
designed to limit wheelspin when sens-
ing a loss of traction at one or both rear
wheels. Engine power is reduced and
the transmission may upshift to help
limit wheelspin.
The system is activated whenever the
engine is started. To turn it off, press the
button on the center console switchbank
marked “TC.”
When off, the Traction Control System’s
“OFF” telltale light will illuminate and
remain on.
See Section 4 of your Owner Manual.
Inflator Kit
An inflator kit is located behind the driv-
er’s seat. To use it, loosen the two nuts
holding the cover in place, remove the
cover and pull the kit out by its handle.
It contains emergency tire repair compo-
nents, as well as an air compressor that
plugs into the Accessory Power Outlet.
