The Premium Sound System provides
enhanced sound quality. The system
features eight speakers, a subwoofer
and an amplifier. For additional informa-
tion, refer to your Owner Manual supple-
ment.
Premium Sound System

The audio con-
trols on the steer-
ing wheel provide
the following
functions:
+ – (Volume):
Press the plus or
minus button to
increase or
decrease the
volume.
(Next/Previous): Press the up or
down arrow to go to the next or previous
radio station stored as a Favorite or,
when a CD is playing, to the next or pre-
vious track.
SRCE (Source): Press this button to
switch to AM, FM, XM (if equipped), CD
and AUX.
(Seek): Press this button to go to the
next radio station.
(Mute/Voice Recognition): Press
this button to silence the system. Press
the button again to turn on the sound.
Press and hold the button for one sec-
ond to interact with the OnStar system.

Audio Steering Wheel Controls
(if equipped)
If a CD is not removed after several
seconds, it will be pulled back automati-
cally into the player.

Note: CDs with any affixed labels may
jam in the CD player. Label a CD using
a permanent marker. If more than one
CD is inserted into the slot at one time,
or if scratched or damaged CDs are
played, the CD player could be dam-
aged. When using the CD player, use
only CDs in good condition without
labels; load one CD at a time; and keep
the CD player and the loading slot free
of foreign materials, liquids and debris.
XM Satellite Radio offers more than 150
channels of digital-quality sound that
goes wherever you go — coast to coast.
XM displays song title, artist and enter-
tainment genre.
On equipped radios, two additional lis-
tening bands are available: XM1 and
XM2. To access these bands, press the
BAND button until XM1 or XM2 appears
on the display.
