OPT BUTTON DURING SINGLE CD MODE
The following display appears when the OPTION hard-
key is pressed while playing an audio CD:
mil + Trk: information up to current place on the CD
mil + Ttl: information about the whole CD

CD Operation
Time Mode Selection
The 7th multifunction key switches between Ptm and
Clk. Press the Ptm (play time) multifunction key to
see track elapsed time. Press the Clk multifunction key
to see time-of-day. Elapsed time appears for 10 sec-
onds any time the CD track changes.
Temperature Protection Circuit
The unit is equipped with a temperature protection cir-
cuit to protect the laser diode from excessive heat.
Temp appears for 8 seconds and the unit switches back
to the radio or other audio source upon activation of
the temperature protection circuit.
Single CD and CD changer can be used again after a
cool-down period. The unit returns to radio or another
audio source if the temperature is still too high.
