Overview

This document describes the ZHRV2-54T Digital Household Self-resetting Overvoltage and Undervoltage Protector, a device designed to safeguard electrical systems from voltage fluctuations. It conforms to the IEC60947-5-1 standard.

Function Description

The ZHRV2-54T protector is built around a high-performance microcontroller, ensuring high reliability and strong anti-jamming capabilities. Its primary function is to provide overvoltage and undervoltage protection for household electrical systems. The device continuously monitors the operating voltage and, upon detecting a voltage outside the user-defined safe range, initiates a protective action.

A key feature is its self-resetting capability. Once the voltage returns to the normal operating range after a protective trip, the device will automatically restore power after a set delay, eliminating the need for manual intervention. This ensures continuous operation and minimizes downtime.

The protector features an LED Nixie tube display that shows the real-time operating voltage value. This allows users to easily monitor the system's voltage status. Users can also set various protection parameters, such as overvoltage and undervoltage operating values, and breakover delay time, directly on the device using intuitive buttons.

The device incorporates a breakover delay function, which prevents immediate tripping due to transient voltage spikes. During this delay, the LED Nixie tube flickers, indicating that the device is in a protective delay state. Once the delay is over and the voltage is within the safe range, the output relay will close, and the LED Nixie tube will display the operating voltage normally.

Usage Features

The ZHRV2-54T is designed for ease of use and configuration.

  • Display: The LED Nixie tube provides clear, real-time feedback on the operating voltage. During breakover delay, the display flickers, indicating a temporary protective state.
  • Parameter Setting:
    • Overvoltage Setting: Long press the "up arrow" button for 3 seconds to enter the overvoltage setting interface. The rightmost indication point will flicker. Use the "up arrow" and "down arrow" buttons to adjust the value, and the "i" button to confirm.
    • Undervoltage Setting: Long press the "down arrow" button for 3 seconds to enter the undervoltage setting interface. The rightmost indication point will flicker. Use the "up arrow" and "down arrow" buttons to adjust the value, and the "i" button to confirm.
    • Breakover Delay Time Setting: Long press both the "up arrow" and "down arrow" buttons for 3 seconds to enter the breakover delay time setting interface. The rightmost indication point will flicker. Use the "up arrow" and "down arrow" buttons to adjust the value, and the "i" button to confirm.
  • Voltage Calibration: Before energizing the relay, long press both the "up arrow" and "down arrow" buttons for 3 seconds to enter the voltage value calibration interface. All three indication points will flicker. This allows for fine-tuning the voltage measurement if needed.
  • Automatic Exit from Menu: If no button is operated for 60 seconds during parameter setting, the relay will automatically exit the menu without saving any unsaved modifications.
  • Automatic Reset: After a voltage fault, once the voltage returns to the normal range and the breakover delay time elapses, the device will automatically reset and restore power.
  • Wiring: The device supports a clear wiring diagram for null line, fire wire, and connected load. It is recommended that the rated operating current of the circuit breaker used with this device be 75% of the maximum current of the voltage relay (Ie = 0.75Imax).
