Creating FC Aliases
You create an alias.

Example:
switch# configure terminal
switch(config)#
Step 1
Configures an alias name. The alias name can be any
case-sensitive, alphanumeric string up to 64 characters.
fcalias name alias-namevsan vsan-id
Example:
switch(config)# fcalias name testname vsan
50
Step 2
Configures a member for the specified fcalias based on the type
(pWWN, fabric pWWN, FC ID, domain ID, or interface) and
value specified.
member type value
Example:
switch(config-fcalias)# member pwwn 4
Step 3
Multiple members can be specified on multiple
lines.
