Setting Summer Time

Summer time
Summer Time is a system adopted in some countries/areas to gain an extra hour
of daylight during summer by advancing clocks by one hour. In an area where the
summer time is in effect, the time signal contains a summer time check signal.
When receiving the summer time check signal, this watch automatically enables/
disables (turns ON/OFF) the Summer Time setting.
• Summer Time can be manually disabled in an area where the time signal can be
received but the summer time is not in effect. (See pages 30 and 31.)
• Summer Time can be manually enabled even if the watch is outside the
area. (See pages 30 and 31.)
• The summer time rules may change depending on the country or area.
• A summer time period is different depending on the country or area.
