The second hand indicates the current setting of the month and year.

10. Push the crown in to position to finish the procedure.
The time and date are indicated.
When adjusting the minute/hour/date, you can move the hands or date indicator
continuously by spinning the crown quickly a few times. To stop them, rotate the crown in
either direction.
