This system, using a camera which recognises
solid or broken lines, detects the involuntary
crossing of longitudinal trac lane markings on
the ground.
If the driver's attention drops and the speed
is higher than 37 mph (60 km/h), the system
triggers a warning if there is an unexpected
change of direction.
This system is particularly useful on motorways
and main roads.
Activation/Deactivation
► Activation/deactivation via this button or the
touch screen, depending on version.
The indicator lamp comes on when the function
is activated.
The state of the system is stored when the
ignition is switched o.
Detection
If an unexpected change of direction is
detected, this warning lamp ashes in the
instrument panel accompanied by an audible
signal.
No warning is transmitted while the direction
indicator is activated and for approximately 20
seconds after the direction indicator is switched
o.
Malfunction
In the event of a malfunction, this warning
lamp ashes on the instrument panel for
about 10 seconds then goes out.

Blind spot monitoring

This system warns the driver of a potential
danger posed by the presence of another vehicle
(car, lorry, motorcycle) in the vehicle's blind
spots (areas hidden from the driver's eld of
vision) using sensors located on the sides of the
bumpers.
A warning lamp appears in the door mirror on the
side in question:
– xed, immediately, when being overtaken.
– ashing, after a delay of about one second,
when overtaking a vehicle slowly, and when the
direction indicator is used.
Activation/Deactivation
The settings are changed via the Driving/
Vehicle touch screen menu.
When the function is activated, this
indicator lamp lights up on the instrument
panel.
When starting the vehicle, the warning lamp
comes on in each mirror to indicate that the
system is activated.
The status of the system is memorised when the
ignition is switched o.
