vigilanceofthedriver.

Audible assistance
Theproximityinformationisgivenbyan
intermittentaudiblesignal,thefrequencyofwhich
increasesasthevehicleapproachestheobstacle.
Thesoundemittedbythespeaker(rightorleft)
indicatesthesideonwhichtheobstacleislocated.
When the distance between the vehicle and
theobstaclebecomeslessthanapproximately
thirtycentimetres,theaudiblesignalbecomes
continuous.
