Front parking
sensors
Thesoundemittedbythespeaker(front
orrear)indicateswhethertheobstacle
isinfrontorbehind.
Thesystemwillbedeactivated
automaticallyifatrailerisbeing
towed or a bicycle carrier is fitted on
atowbar(vehiclefittedwithatowbar
installedinlinewiththemanufacturer's
recommendations).
In bad weather or in winter, ensure
that the sensors are not covered with
mud,iceorsnow.Whenreversegearis
engaged,anaudiblesignal(longbeep)
indicatesthatthesensorsmaybedirty.
Certainsoundsources(motorcycle,
lorry,pneumaticdrill,etc.)maytrigger
theaudiblesignalsoftheparking
sensorsystem.
Inadditiontotherearparkingsensors,the
frontparkingsensorsaretriggeredwhenan
obstacle is detected in front and the speed of
thevehicleisstillbelow6mph(10km/h).
Thefrontparkingsensorsareinterruptedif
thevehiclestopsformorethanthreeseconds
inforwardgear,ifnofurtherobstaclesare
detected or when the speed of the vehicle
exceeds6mph(10km/h).

Operating fault
Intheeventofamalfunctionof
thesystem,whenreversegearis
engagedthesymbolforthebutton
changestoalertmodeandthe
warninglampflashesforafew
momentsthenstaysoncontinuously.
Amessageappears,accompaniedbyan
audiblesignal(shortbeep).

F Press on "Parking sensors".
 Theindicatorlampinthebutton
comeson.
F Select the "Driving assistance"
menu.
High pressure jet wash
Whenwashingyourvehicle,donotdirectthe
lancewithin30cmofthesensors.
Pressingthisbuttonagainreactivatesthe
system.Theindicatorlampgoesoff.
Theparkingsensorscanbedeactivatedinthe
touchscreentablet.
Theparkingsensorsaredeactivated
whiletheParkAssistsystemis
measuringaspace.
