Toswitchtheignitionbackon,turnthe
keytoposition1 (Stop),thenbackto
position 2 (Ignition on).
Neverswitchofftheignitionbeforethe
vehicleisatacompletestop.
Withtheengineoff,thebrakingand
steeringassistancesystemsarealso
cutoff:riskoflossofcontrolofthe
vehicle.
Whenyouleavethevehicle,keepthe
keywithyouandlockthevehicle.
Tofacilitateunlockingofthesteering
column,itisrecommendedthatthewheels
bereturnedtothestraightaheadposition
beforeswitchingofftheengine.
Switching off
F Stopthevehicle.
F Withtheenginerunningatidle,turnthekey
to position 1.
F Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
F Tolockthesteeringcolumn,turnthe
steeringuntilitlocks.
F Checkthattheparkingbrakeiscorrectly
applied,particularlyonslopingground.
