Your vehicle has been approved in accordance
with the latest ISOFIX regulation.
The seats, represented below, are fitted with
regulationISOFIXmountings:
"ISOFIX"mountings
Therearethreeringsforeachseat:
- aringBbehindtheseatforfixingtheupper
strap, referred to as the TOP TETHER.
The TOP TETHER is used to secure the
upperstrapofchildseatsthathaveone.This
arrangementlimitstheforwardtippingofthe
childseatintheeventofafrontimpact.
ThisISOFIXmountingsystemprovidesfast,
reliableandsafefittingofthechildseatinyour
vehicle.

vehicle,refertothesummarytable.
The incorrect installation of a child seat
inavehiclecompromisesthechild's
protectionintheeventofanaccident.
Followtheinstructionsforfittingchild
seatscontainedintheinstallationguide
suppliedwiththechildseat.
WhenfittinganISOFIXchildseattotheleft
handrearseat,beforefittingtheseat,first
movethecentrerearseatbelttowardsthe
middleofthevehicle,soastoavoidtheseat
interferingwiththeoperationoftheseatbelt.
The ISOFIX child seats are fitted with two
latcheswhicharesecuredonthetworingsA.
Someseatsalsohaveanupper strap,known
as the TOP TETHER, which is attached to
ringB.
TosecurethechildseattotheTOPTETHER:
- removeandstowtheheadrestraintbefore
installingthechildseatinthisseating
position (refit it once the child seat has
beenremoved),
- pass the strap of the child seat over the top
oftheseatbackrest,centredbetweenthe
apertures for the head restraint rods,
- fixthehookoftheupperstraptotheringB,
- tightentheupperstrap.
