Ignition on position
Itallowstheuseofthevehicle'selectric
equipmentorportabledevicestobecharged.
Oncethestateofchargeofthebatterydrops
tothereservelevel,thesystemswitchesto
energyeconomymode:thepowersupplyis
cutoffautomaticallytopreservetheremaining
batterycharge.
Starting/Switchingofftheenginewiththekey
Ignition switch
Avoidattachingheavyobjectstothe
keyortheremotecontrol,whichwould
weighdownonitsbladeintheignition
switchandcouldcauseamalfunction.
Itcouldadverselyaffectthedeployment
ofthefrontairbag.
Switchingofftheengineleadstoaloss
ofbrakingassistance.
Anti-theft protection
Electronic engine immobiliser
Keepsafely,awayfromyourvehicle,
thelabelattachedtothekeysgivento
youonacquisitionofthevehicle.
Thekeyscontainanelectronicchipwhichhas
aspecialcode.Whentheignitionisswitched
on,thiscodemustberecognisedforengine
startingtobeauthorised.
Thiselectronicengineimmobiliserlocksthe
enginemanagementsystemafewminutes
aftertheignitionisswitchedoffandprevents
startingoftheenginebyanyonewhodoesnot
havethekey.
