Eachcurtainairbagisbuiltintothepillarsandthe
upperpassengercompartmentarea.
Deployment
Thecurtainairbagisdeployedatthesame
timeasthecorrespondinglateralairbaginthe
eventofaserioussideimpactappliedtoallor
partofthesideimpactzoneB,perpendicular
tothelongitudinalcentrelineofthevehicleona
horizontalplaneanddirectedfromtheoutside
towardstheinsideofthevehicle.
Thecurtainairbaginflatesbetweenthefrontor
rearoccupantofthevehicleandthewindows.
Operating fault
Intheeventofaminorimpactorbump
onthesideofthevehicleorifthe
vehiclerollsover,theairbagmaynotbe
deployed.
In the event of a rear or front collision,
theairbagisnotdeployed.
Ifthiswarninglampcomesoninthe
instrumentpanel,accompaniedby
anaudiblesignalandamessage
inthescreen,contactaCITROËNdealer
oraqualifiedworkshoptohavethesystem
checked.Theairbagsmaynolongerbe
deployedintheeventofaseriousimpact.
