Tape Operations
Fast-forward/rewind (FF/REW)
OFF:
Select right a-selector [2].
@REW:
Select left a-selector [2].
@To cancel FF/REW:
Push in a-selector [2].

* When the end of tape is reached in FF or REW
mode, the mode is canceled and other side of tape
plays automatically.
* If you select other function mode during FF or
REW mode, the selected mode is activated. How-
ever, the tape keeps on running and stops when
the beginning or end of it is reached. This func-
tion is called “monitor function’.
APC function (Auto Programme Control)
The APC function allows to start the current or
next track to be played from the beginning.
@To locate the beginning of the next track
(FF APC)
Select right a-selector [2] twice during the tape
play. The tape is fast-forwarded and the next track
is played.
@To locate the beginning of the current track
(REW APC)
Select left a-selector [2] twice during the tape
play. The tape is rewinded and the current track
is played from the beginning.
@To cancel FF/REW APC and listen to the tape
Push in a-selector [2].

* If you select other function mode during APC
mode, the selected mode is activated. However,
the tape keeps on running and stops when the
beginning of the current or next track is located.
This function is called “monitor function’.
Changing the play direction
Each time you press PROG button [11], play is
changed to the other side of the tape.
* When the end of the tape is reached, the other
side of the tape is played automatically. (Auto re-
verse)
