English
Always disconnect theappliance from thewall socket:
- if amalfunction occurs
- before cleaning
- if theappliance is not to be used for along time
- after each use
Theelectrical socket to which theappliance is connected should be protected by anRCD
with atripping current of 30 mA.
Place theappliance on afirm, flat and level surface. Never operate theappliance on asoft,
pliable surface such acushion or quilt.
Fill the tank with water before plugging the appliance into an electrical socket.
Never place your hands into the water when the appliance is switched on.
Make sure that thewater level in thetank does not exceed themaximum mark.
Items not suitable for ultrasonic cleaning
Soft jewellery such as pearls
or jewellery made of:
Emerald
Ivory
Coral
Agate
Sea shells
These items are too soft and may scratch during cleaning.
Welded or plated metal items.
Glued items.
Ultrasonic cleaning may enlarge any gaps inside thejoints.
This can cause thejoints to fail and theitems to come apart.
Watches with lower water-
resistance ratings than
10 ATM/100 m.
Remove thewatch strap from thewatch and wash thestrap in
thebasket if thewatch has alower rating than 10 ATM/100 m.
In order to be able to use theincluded watch stand which
holds thewatch above thewater, thewatch casing must be
water resistant to at least 10 ATM/100 m.
Theultrasonic waves might cause water to penetrate
thecasing of watches with lower water resistance despite
them being held above thesurface of thewater.
Never immerse awatch in thewater tank of theappliance,
regardless of its water resistance rating.
Make sure that theany buttons on thewatch are pushed in
and that all theseals are in good condition before placing
thewatch in theholder.
