The Wireless LAN
indicators
show that the WLAN
module is powered on,
however the module
does not connect.
The WLAN module is turned off in the Windows Mobility Center. The computer’s wireless
function keys will not function properly if Wireless is turned OFF in the Windows Mobility
Center control panel. Make sure that Wireless is ON in the Mobility Center to ensure proper
function key behavior (see “Wireless Hot Keys” on page 7 - 34).
No sound can be heard
through an HDMI
connected display
device.
You have not configured the HDMI audio output. See “HDMI Audio Configuration” on page 2 -
8.
You are experiencing
problems with image
distortion in a 3D game
(or any 3D program)
when the computer is
powered by the battery.
Where this is the case, install the beta video driver version provided on the Device Drivers &
Utilities +User’s Manual disc.
1. Insert the Device Drivers & Utilities + User’s Manual disc and click Browse
CD/DVD.
2. The driver is located in the following location on the disc:
Drivers\02Video(beta)\.
3. Double-click the executable setup file and follow the on-screen instructions to
install the driver.
