■ Screw propane cylinder into
lantern. Take care not to cross-
thread. Hand tighten only.

■ Set legs of base in outer position.
■ Set lantern into base.
Match Light Lantern
■ Push lighted match through light-
ing hole, hold near mantle and open
fuel valve fully.
INSTASTART™
Electronic Ignition Lantern
■ Turn fuel valve on. The valve will
click and a spark will jump between
electrodes and ignite the mantles.

Keep all connections and fit-
tings clean. Inspect propane
cylinder and lantern propane
connections for damage before
attaching.
• During set up, check all con-
nections and fittings for leaks
using soapy water. Bubbles indi-
cate a leak. Never use a flame.
