■ Check and clean the venturi tube and
burner for insects and insect nests.
A clogged tube can lead to a re
outside the appliance.
Burner and Orifice
■ Proper location of the burner with
respect to the orice is important. To
verify the proper installation of the
Venturi tube, remove the cooking
surface and the water pan. The venturi
tube, burner, and orice should be
positioned as shown in Fig. 9.

■ Never operate
grill with propane

inverted position.
