fastening,thehydraulicconnectionsandtheguards.
•Do notoperateanytapsonthemotorpumpunlesstheseareconnectedtoanaccessorythatpreventsthe
accidentalescapeofthepumpedliquid.
•Donotdeactivateortamperwiththecontrolsandthesafetydevicesandthepressureunloader/regulationvalve.
•Operatingthemotorpumpandthemachineinwhichitisintegratedinclosedenvironmentsisforbiddenifthis
isdrivenbyacombustionengine.
Perform the steps relating to the operation indicated in the manual relating to the machine in which the
motor pump is integrated and on any combustion engine equipping this; unless otherwise indicated, in
relation to the motor pump, the following should be remembered.
a)Inthecaseofanelectricmotorpump,onthepowerboxisanomnipolardisconnectionswitch(1)forstarting
itandswitchingito.
b)
emotorpumps(exceptforMTPMC8,MTPMC18,MTPMC20/20,MTPMC25,MTPP36/10and
MTPP36/15)featuretapsonthehigh-pressurecircuit.eiroperationiscontrolledbythelever(15):the
ONandOFFpositionofthetapsareshowninFig.10and11.
c)emotorpumpcanonlybeprimedifthepressureofthedeliverycircuitisresetinthefollowingway:
- fullyturntheknob(3)oftheregulationvalveanticlockwise(onlyMTPMC8andMTPMC18;alsosee
Fig.9);
- adjustthelever(4),bymovingitto“BYPASS”position(seetheFig.10and11).
d)
Operationofthedeliverycircuitunderpressureisonlypossibleifthelever(4)isin“PRESS”position(i.e.,for
theMTPMC8andMTPMC18,iftheknob(3)isturnedclockwise).Pressureadjustmentoccursbymeans
oftheknob(3)(alsoseeFig.9,10and11).
e)Iftted,thepressureisshownonthepressuregauge(11).
CAUTION
•Topermitfastmotorpumppriming,proceedasindicatedatpointc)everytimethepumphastobeprimed
again.
•Duringthersthoursofoperation,itisbesttochecktheoilleveland,ifnecessary,topupthelevel,following
the instructions in the
