This
interface
signal
is
provided
by
the
drive
to
give
the
user
an
indication
when
a
write
protected
diskette
is
installed.
This
signal
is
a
normally
opened
switch
contact
when
the
diskette
is
not
protected
and
closed
when
it
is
protected.
Writing
on
the
diskette
is
inhibited
on
the
drive
when
the
diskette
is
write
protected.

need

obstruct
BUMP
NOISE
in
recal
motion

prepare
the
logic
circuits
that
make
