CD-ROM drive cable (spared in Cable Kit) 176004-001
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the fan assembly (Section 5.6).
3. Disconnect the CD-ROM drive cable from the system board

(Figure 5-8).
4. Remove the screw securing the CD-ROM drive to the base
assembly ➋.
5. Push on the back of the CD-ROM drive and slide the drive to the
left
➌.
