NOTE: Removal of the RTC battery clears all information from CMOS.

1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the top cover (Section 5.10).
3. Disconnect the RTC battery cable from the TouchPad

4. Remove the RTC battery from the base assembly
